Privacy Policy — Tickets, Bookings & Messaging

This policy covers our online ticketing sites (tix.bounceempire.com and tickets.immersiveempire.io), fundraiser ticket checkout on mycause.bounceempire.com, and our online party booking and RSVP pages. In this policy, "we" means Genius Family Entertainment LLC and its subsidiaries Bounce Empire and Immersive Empire. Bounce Empire's main website and our waivers are covered by the policy at bounceempire.com/privacy-policy.
What we collect
- Your name and email — to send your ticket code, receipt and reminders.
- Your mobile number — only if you enter one to opt in to text messages. If you type a phone number to look up waivers, we check it against our waiver records and don't store it with your order.
- Billing ZIP code — captured by our payment processor as part of the card payment. Card numbers go straight to Square; we never see or store them.
- What you bought or booked — tickets, events, visit date and entry time, add-ons, coupons, party or RSVP details, and any refunds.
- Waiver verification — the names and waiver status we look up for your group.
- Door records — when your tickets were redeemed at check-in and, if you use our exit station, when you left.
- Your answers and contact with us — how you heard about us, visit-prep details such as sock sizes, any survey or review you send us, and calls, texts and emails with us.
- Website information — device type, pages viewed, what was tapped, which ad or link brought you here, and your IP address and browser details at the time of purchase.
Why we use it
- To deliver what you bought: issue and redeem your tickets, host your party, send confirmations, reminders and receipts, and help with changes and refunds.
- To verify waivers and apply age and safety rules.
- To market our venues: email offers and event news from Bounce Empire and Immersive Empire, birthday offers based on your own birthday, and reminders about the anniversary of a party you booked with us. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. Marketing texts go only to people who opt in (see Text messages below).
- To measure our ads and improve the booking experience.
- To prevent fraud and comply with the law.
Text messages (SMS)
Genius Family Entertainment LLC and its subsidiaries Bounce Empire and Immersive Empire send marketing text messages only to people who opt in through a separate, unchecked checkbox on our waiver, ticketing, booking or RSVP pages. Giving us your phone number for a waiver, booking or order does not sign you up for texts, and consenting to texts is never a condition of purchase or entry. Messages may include offers, event news and visit follow-ups. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. Mobile phone numbers, text opt-in data and consent are used only for texts from the brands named when you opted in. We do not sell or share them with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes; the sharing described elsewhere in this policy excludes text opt-in data and consent. Providers that deliver our messages handle them only on our behalf.
When you give us your email address on an order or booking, you may receive confirmations and promotional emails from Bounce Empire and Immersive Empire. The checkbox at checkout lets you choose whether to receive marketing email; unticking it stops marketing email but not the ticket confirmation you asked for. Every promotional email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribes promptly.
Children
Tickets and bookings are made by adults. Waiver lookups may show children's names so we can confirm their waivers; we use children's information only for waivers, check-in and safety rules. We never market to children, and we never share children's information with anyone for marketing. Our emails and texts go to the adult who bought the tickets or made the booking.
Who we share it with
- Within Genius Family Entertainment LLC and its subsidiaries, Bounce Empire and Immersive Empire, for the purposes above.
- Service providers that work for us and may use your information only for our purposes — your contact details, order and booking details, and payment and delivery records, as their job needs: Square (payments), Smartwaiver (waivers), Tripleseat (party bookings), our email and text delivery providers, Cloudflare (hosting), and Microsoft Clarity (site analytics).
- Ad platforms (such as Meta, Google, Microsoft, Nextdoor or Reddit), only to measure that their ad led to a visit or purchase. A purchase notification includes the amount, a hashed (unreadable) form of your email, and your IP address and browser details — never your card details.
- Event partners — if you buy on a partner's ticket page (for example tickets.coloween.com), the event's promoter receives your name, what you bought, a hashed form of your email for ad measurement, and your IP address and browser details; your email address goes to them only if you tick the box that names them. The partner's own analytics and advertising tags run on that page.
- When the law requires it, or to protect our guests, staff and property.
We do not sell personal information. Text opt-in data and consent are never shared with anyone for marketing.
Analytics and advertising
- Our own analytics — anonymous visit information (pages viewed, time on page, scroll depth, what was tapped, device type, and which ad or link brought you here) to understand and improve the booking experience.
- Microsoft Clarity — we may use Clarity for behavioral metrics, heatmaps and session replays. Text you type is masked in replays, and card details are never visible to Clarity. Data is captured using first- and third-party cookies. See the Microsoft Privacy Statement.
- Advertising pixels — if you arrive from an ad, the ad platform may set cookies to measure that its ad led to a visit or purchase. You can limit cookie-based measurement with your browser's settings or ad-blocking features, or ask us to opt you out of targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
Order and booking records (name, email, billing ZIP, what you bought, the IP address and browser details at the time of purchase, redemption and refunds) are kept as business and financial records. Customer contact records are anonymized after three years without a visit, booking or purchase unless you have opted in to hear from us. Records of text consent and opt-outs are kept as proof and so we can keep honoring your opt-out. Anonymous visit analytics are kept up to about 4 months; error logs about 30 days.
Your choices (including Colorado residents)
You can ask us to show you the personal information we have about you, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it. You can opt out of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link in any email, and out of marketing texts by replying STOP. Colorado residents can also opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, and profiling: we do not sell personal data or make automated decisions with legal effects, and you can opt out of targeted advertising by emailing us or by using your browser's ad-blocking or privacy settings.
To make a request, email tickets@bounceempire.com with "Privacy request" in the subject line, or call (720) 791-2600. We will confirm it's you, answer within 45 days, and explain how to appeal if we decline. If we deny your appeal, you can contact the Colorado Attorney General. We never treat you differently for exercising these rights. Some records must be kept for legal, safety or financial reasons even after a deletion request.
Changes
When our practices change, we update this page and the effective date at the top.
